Caroline Matlock joins Forty Shillings

Forty Shillings have strengthened their senior team with the appointment of Caroline Matlock as Associate Director.

Caroline has nearly twenty years’ experience of working in strategic communications and stakeholder engagement across Westminster, the public and private sector.

Having started her career as a journalist, Caroline worked at the Conservative Party including roles as press officer to Theresa May, Campaign Manager to Sandra Howard and Diversity Manager.

As Head of Media at the Institute of Directors, Caroline regularly dealt with high profile figures and a wide range of stakeholders. Caroline also worked as an Advisor to the UK Government’s ‘Make Your Mark’ initiative, encouraging young people to get involved in enterprise.

Caroline has spent the past 6 years focusing on all aspects of community engagement; writing and delivering engagement plans, Equality Impact Assessments, Public Consultation, chairing community liaison groups, community meetings and providing strategic advice on a wide variety of infrastructure projects.

Caroline will be working across a range of projects and initiatives.
