Slough Station area regeneration plans presented to the public

Residents have been invited to a walk-in public exhibition showcasing proposals for the regeneration of the area around Slough Station.

The proposals being brought forward by Exton Estates and Aberdeen Standard Investments will provide 170 residential units, beautiful landscaping, flexible office space, communal open spaces, a café and restaurant. The proposal will also include car parking at Basement Level to provide suitable parking for both the office and residential development, including disabled parking spaces, secure cycle parking (with associated facilities) and electric car charging spaces.

The residential aspect of the development will comprise 170 units and apartments offering studio, 1 bed and 2 bed accommodation. The 21-storey residential building will feature associated café/restaurant space at the ground floor level with a dedicated entrance. There will also be 40 car parking spaces at basement level with associated bike store/plant area.

The 84,500sq ft offices being proposed will include co-working spaces, café, a reception accessed off both Brunel Way and the public plaza providing access to the central circulation core. With a ground to ceiling height of 2.85m, the 7 Storey offices we are proposing will also provide terrace/sky-garden areas for tenants. There will be 80 dedicated car parking spaces for the offices at basement level with associated bike store.
