Plans for Leatherhead Build to Rent development approved

Mole Valley District Council has approved plans for 214 build to rent homes to be built at the former Leatherhead Food Research site.

The Randalls Way scheme, which will be delivered by urban residential development firm Titan Property Developments, comprises a mix of unit types and sizes, including 36 affordable rented homes.

It features 3,378 square metres of communal open space and play space, while on-site communal facilities include a gym, post-room, residents lounge and car club.

Steve Summers, director and co-founder of Titan, comments: “As can be seen from our approved plans, we’re aiming to significantly enhance the local built environment by replacing a large, derelict brownfield site with landmark residential property. When occupied, it is easy to see how the residents will be able to re-energising local commerce in support of the Council’s own vision to Transform Leatherhead. We’re already looking forward to next phase of delivering this project so that all the local benefits can be realised.”
