Margate Estates invite public to view plans for Dreamland

Margate Estates, the parent company of Dreamland, is holding two community drop in events next week to introduce the senior team at Dreamland and to talk about a long-term vision to bring more visitors and investment to Margate.

Over 20,000 newsletters have been circulated to Margate residents inviting them to the events, which take place between:

  • Wednesday 11 July 2018 from 4pm until 8pm
  • Thursday 12 July 2018 from 4pm until 8pm
in the Ballroom, at Dreamland, 49-51 Marine Terrace, Margate CT9 1XJ

The events have been organised to provide residents with an update on Margate Estates £50 million investment in Dreamland and to introduce their senior team. The company will also be unveiling plans for a new 120-bed lifestyle hotel for the gap site on Margate seafront.

Margate Estates are keen to discuss the role they can play in supporting the wider cultural-led regeneration that is helping to rejuvenate Margate.

The two events will take place in the Grade II* listed Ballroom at Dreamland, and members of the Dreamland team, as well as the project team working on the hotel, will be on hand to talk about the proposals with members of the public.

Aidan de Brunner, of Margate Estates said:

“Dreamland and Margate Estates are part of a town-wide effort to reactivate this unique seaside destination. We want to work together with residents and the wider community to bring more visitors and investment, creating more jobs and opportunities for Margate.

We are looking forward to discussing our part of this vision, and how we can work together to achieve more for Margate.”
